Project Interface Manager – Offshore

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Project Interface Manager to lead offshore interface coordination for a major EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role serves as the central point of contact between ADNOC, the PMC team, EPC contractors, licensors and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration across technical, organisational and physical interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Interface Management Plan (IMP) and an Interface Register tracking all interface points, responsibilities and status.
• Allocate interface ownership among EPC contractors, vendors and stakeholders and ensure clear communication of changes.
• Facilitate coordination between multiple contractors, resolve technical conflicts, and monitor interface deliverables such as drawings, specifications and data exchanges.
• Coordinate site interfaces during construction and installation, monitor constructability, and support resolution of site clashes.
• Integrate interface requirements into the overall project schedule, identify related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular interface status reports, maintain documentation and logs, and lead interface coordination meetings and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards and project QA/QC requirements, promoting a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the EPC project lifecycle (FEED, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning).
• Proven experience in interface management on large‑scale offshore or oil‑and‑gas projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Solid knowledge of schedule and risk management principles.
• Ability to work under pressure and drive timely closure of interface actions.
