Project Manager – Engineering Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the development and implementation of major multi‑disciplined engineering projects, from concept through to hand‑over, ensuring they meet shareholder guidelines and HSE standards. This role oversees project execution, coordination with multinational contractors, and provides strategic direction to project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical input for proposals, coordinate design, material specifications, procurement and tendering.
• Manage Project Management Consultants, supervise site activities and report progress to senior management.
• Direct multidisciplinary engineering teams through all project phases, from initiation to commissioning.
• Control budgets, costs, contracts, and variations, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure safety programs are implemented and monitor HSE performance.
• Prepare weekly highlights and monthly progress reports covering engineering, procurement, and construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in oil & gas project engineering/execution, including at least 5 years leading multi‑disciplinary staff and contractors.
• Professional certification PMP (Project Management Professional).
