Project Manager – Mendix & Azure Delivery

About the role

We're building a delivery team for a large, multi‑phase enterprise Mendix programme and need a Project Manager to lead delivery end‑to‑end. The programme integrates with around 20 external systems through an enterprise service bus (ESB), including government services, banks, a payment gateway and core platforms such as CRM, finance, chatbot and data management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run delivery from mobilisation through analysis, build, testing, go‑live, hyper‑care and hand‑over.
• Run formal governance including monthly steering committee, bi‑weekly project board and weekly status reporting.
• Manage dependencies across many third parties, external system owners and integration partners.
• Coordinate onsite and remote team members during analysis, UAT and go‑live phases.
• Track client dependencies such as system access, API documentation and test environments.
• Oversee documentation, knowledge transfer and hand‑over to the client’s support team.

Required profile

• 10+ years of total experience in IT project delivery, with at least 5 years in management or leadership roles.
• 3‑5+ years delivering Mendix or government IT projects.
• Proven experience running formal governance structures (steering committees, project boards, status reporting).
• Strong capability in managing multi‑party dependencies and system integrations.
• Experience delivering phased go‑lives for complex integration projects.
