Project Manager – Power Solutions

About the role

Avantis Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary power‑solutions projects for marine, energy and industrial clients. Based in Dubai, you will coordinate engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with international standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from client consultation to final handover.
• Lead cross‑functional teams—including engineering, construction, procurement and subcontractors—to meet scope, quality, safety, cost and schedule targets.
• Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, track progress and mitigate risks.
• Serve as the primary client contact, providing regular updates and fostering long‑term relationships.
• Support commissioning, testing and resolution of technical issues in collaboration with engineering and client teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s a plus).
• Proven experience delivering mechanical engineering projects, preferably with steam‑raising plant and boiler systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering principles and design.
• Experience with steam‑raising plant and boiler technology.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
