Project Manager – Power Solutions

About the role

Avantis is seeking a Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary power‑solutions projects for marine, energy and industrial clients worldwide. You will be responsible for coordinating engineering, procurement, site installation and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with international standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from client consultation and proposal through planning, execution, delivery and handover.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including engineering, construction, procurement and subcontractors—to meet scope, quality, safety, cost and schedule targets.
• Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, track progress and proactively mitigate risks.
• Ensure all project activities comply with health and safety regulations and international standards.
• Collaborate across cultures and time zones, driving progress and delivering exceptional outcomes at each milestone.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects in power systems or related sectors.
• Strong ability to lead diverse teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and risk‑management skills.
• Willingness to work in an international environment and adapt to different cultural contexts.

Required skills

• Project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Budget management and cost control.
• Risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards for power projects.
