Project Manager – Solar Projects

About the role

Green Initiative is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead solar photovoltaic projects in the Middle East and North Africa. Based in Dubai, you will be responsible for delivering construction projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure construction and handover of projects to clients on schedule and on budget
• Maintain a zero‑accident safety record and compliance with QHSE policy
• Plan, direct, coordinate, develop and deliver progress reports for assigned projects
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers and project teams on organization, scheduling and implementation
• Inspect construction sites to ensure quality, safety and workmanship standards
• Monitor and report progress and issues related to safety, quality, schedule and budget per ISO procedures
• Guarantee strict adherence to design plans, specifications and quality requirements
• Track daily progress, address schedule slippage and propose corrective actions
• Manage project expenses to stay within budget
• Provide status reports to clients and management as required
• Prepare and issue RFPs for subcontracted works
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate contracts
• Coordinate with QHSE on ISO requirements
• Contribute to development of best practices and tools for project execution

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or Project Management
• 5‑7 years experience managing construction projects
• 3+ years supervisory experience in construction
• Solar project experience preferred
