Project Manager – UAE National

About the role

The Local Project Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all local aspects of Thales projects in the United Arab Emirates. Working closely with senior management, the role ensures that project scope, schedule and delivery meet contractual commitments while maintaining strong relationships with the UAE customer and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project management life‑cycle, from initiation to commissioning.
• Achieve contractual KPIs and ensure timely cash payments through compliant delivery.
• Lead and coordinate the local team, setting deadlines, monitoring progress and reporting status, risks and issues to upper management.
• Maintain a central repository for contractual, technical and financial data.
• Interface with Thales Business Lines, the customer and end‑users to guarantee alignment and satisfaction.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, apply best practices and propose improvements.

Required profile

• UAE national with proven experience in project management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong customer‑facing skills and experience in contract and payment management.
