Project Manager (UAE National)

About the role

The Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a UAE National Project Manager to lead and deliver IT projects within agreed time, budget and quality constraints. You will coordinate internal teams and external consultants to implement package solutions or develop system-based solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Establish project scope, estimates, resources, roles and responsibilities and initiate project mobilization.
• Monitor and control project execution through analysis, design, build, test and release phases.
• Provide governance, reporting and performance documentation to senior leadership.
• Lead work‑plan creation, scheduling, resource planning and status reporting across multiple business units.
• Manage scope changes, issue resolution and risk mitigation, communicating updates to stakeholders.
• Define quality standards, ensure compliance and prepare project completion documentation.

Required profile

• Graduation degree or higher, preferably with a professional project management certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within banking.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and both waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of banking domains and ability to work with senior leadership.
