Project Manager – Water Treatment Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects in Sharjah. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams throughout the full project lifecycle, defining goals, scope, deliverables and timelines.
• Develop strategic project plans aligned with client expectations and organisational objectives.
• Identify and allocate resources – personnel, equipment, materials and subcontractors – to maximise efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed schedules, milestones and monitor progress, adjusting as needed.
• Maintain transparent communication with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Implement quality control measures and oversee corrective actions.
• Manage procurement coordination to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
• Handle scope changes, document change requests and assess impact on schedule and budget.
• Produce regular project status reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field relevant to engineering, construction or water treatment).
• Proven experience managing water or wastewater treatment projects or similar industrial/infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and make data‑driven decisions.
