Project QA/QC Manager

About the role

The Project QA/QC Manager will lead all quality assurance and control activities for engineering projects in Dubai, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the project Quality Management & Control program.
• Review and approve project‑specific quality plans, inspection and test plans, check‑sheets, method statements and related procedures.
• Control all on‑site inspection activities and verify that test reports meet contractual requirements.
• Ensure all materials delivered to the site are inspected and conform to specified requirements.
• Issue and manage Non‑Conformance Reports, handle customer complaints and field instructions, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Report deficiencies in the Quality Management System to the Project Manager.
• Prepare final quality documentation in a presentable format as required by the contract.
• Oversee and audit subcontractor Quality Management Systems.
• Coordinate internal and external client audits.
• Implement the project training programme and conduct project‑based training as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project‑level QA/QC management within construction or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of quality plans, inspection procedures, test reporting and non‑conformance handling.
• Ability to lead on‑site inspection teams and liaise with subcontractors and clients.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating audits and delivering training programmes.
