Project Quality Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Project Quality Manager will lead quality assurance and control activities for CB&I projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory and company standards throughout the project lifecycle. This role coordinates with engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction teams to embed quality processes and deliver safe, reliable assets.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and interpret contract, sub‑contract and local regulatory quality requirements.
• Prepare, maintain and implement the Project Quality Plan.
• Allocate sufficient QA/QC resources across design, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning.
• Report project quality performance to Area Welding & QA/QC Manager and Area Quality Manager.
• Deliver project‑specific quality training and ensure HSE compliance.
• Act as the focal point for quality issues, providing advice and resolution to the project team.
• Coordinate development of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and detailed QA/QC procedures.
• Manage welding documentation, including WPS, PQR and welder qualifications.
• Oversee material identification, traceability and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quality documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications.
