Proposals Manager

About the role

The Proposals Manager will lead the end‑to‑end tender process, ensuring high‑quality, competitive bids for NMDC Dredging and Marine. This role requires close collaboration across engineering, estimation, legal and commercial teams to deliver successful proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tender documents, define and allocate activities required to finalize each bid.
• Monitor tender completeness and track progress against deadlines.
• Identify risks and opportunities within tenders and develop mitigation actions.
• Advise the tender team on bid strategy in consultation with senior estimation and commercial leadership.
• Gather all technical, contractual, schedule, cost estimation and design engineering inputs and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the estimation division, design & method engineers, and the legal department.
• Promote horizontal and vertical teamwork across departments.
• Maintain clear, persuasive oral and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive change and innovation within the tendering function.
• Manage conflicts, solve problems and mediate between multiple stakeholder interests.
• Motivate colleagues, provide constructive feedback and foster a results‑oriented culture.
• Take accountability for the quality and completion of multi‑disciplinary tenders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work beyond the defined scope when operational requirements demand.
