Purchase Officer

About the role

The Purchase Officer will manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for pool, spa and landscaping materials, overseeing both international imports and local sourcing to support construction projects in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase pool, spa and landscape materials from global and local suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and freight contracts with international and domestic vendors.
• Coordinate cross‑border logistics, shipping and Dubai customs clearance.
• Maintain inventory levels aligned with project timelines to avoid shortages.
• Identify, qualify and onboard new vendors.
• Resolve supply‑chain delays, damaged goods and quality issues directly with suppliers.
• Process purchase orders and keep accurate procurement records.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in Dubai’s construction sector.
• Hands‑on experience managing international imports and extensive local purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, freight forwarding and Dubai customs regulations.
• Proven negotiation skills with a record of cost reductions.
• Ability to work independently and fluently in English.
