QA Automation Engineer - Web

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Playwright (TypeScript) and solid experience in API testing. The role requires an ownership‑driven individual who can work independently while collaborating closely with product, development, DevOps and UAT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust web automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Build and maintain API test scripts for functional and regression validation using Postman, Rest Assured or Playwright.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous validation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define test strategies, quality gates and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with UAT stakeholders to plan, coordinate and validate user acceptance testing cycles.
• Identify, document and track defects, driving root‑cause analysis and generating execution reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of QA experience with a strong focus on web automation.
• Hands‑on expertise in Playwright with TypeScript and ability to build frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with API testing (REST) using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Proven ability to work independently, take full ownership of deliverables and collaborate across teams.
