QA QC Engineer - Electrical

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned QA/QC Engineer specialized in electrical systems to join our Dubai project team. The role involves ensuring that all electrical installations meet the highest quality and safety standards throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
• Conduct inspections and testing of cable laying, terminations, panels, transformers, switchgear and lighting systems.
• Monitor installation activities to verify compliance with project quality plans and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors and consultants on quality‑related issues.
• Verify that all materials used are approved and conform to project specifications.
• Record inspections, test results, non‑conformances and corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of NCRs.
• Support commissioning activities and produce accurate test reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards during all inspection and testing tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience on electrical systems in construction or power projects.
• Strong knowledge of international standards such as IEC, NEC and IEEE, as well as local regulations.
• Proven experience in preparing QA/QC documentation and managing audits.
