QA/QC Engineer – Construction Quality Management

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all civil, architectural and structural works meet the required quality standards and specifications. Working on‑site and off‑site, you will coordinate with consultants, contractors and the QA/QC manager to drive continuous improvement in construction quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop method statements, risk assessments, job safety analyses and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) based on project specifications.
• Perform daily inspections and tests of construction activities, both on‑site and off‑site, to verify compliance with drawings and standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, site managers and subcontractors to resolve non‑conformances and close NCRs and site instructions.
• Maintain and control all QA/QC documentation, including certificates, calibration records, test results and material submittals.
• Conduct internal audits according to the Project Quality Plan and report findings to the QA/QC Manager.
• Lead the implementation of the project Quality Plan and ensure all amendments are documented and distributed.
• Participate in weekly QA/QC meetings, quality inspections and non‑destructive testing activities.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions and ensure they are documented and followed up.

Required profile

• Proven experience in QA/QC for civil, architectural or structural construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards and quality management systems.
• Ability to prepare and review technical documents such as method statements, ITPs and risk assessments.
• Excellent coordination skills with consultants, contractors and internal teams.
