QA/QC Manager

About the role

RINA is seeking a QA/QC Manager to join its Project Engineering Division in Abu Dhabi. The role will lead quality assurance and control activities across complex, high‑value projects, ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical feasibility assessments during the proposal phase and define high‑level requirements.
• Oversee technical delivery, monitor progress against milestones, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Guide engineering teams in task allocation, performance monitoring, and collaborative problem‑solving.
• Establish and enforce advanced quality control protocols, conducting audits and corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety procedures, acting as the escalation point for safety concerns.
• Coordinate with discipline managers to allocate resources effectively and adjust plans strategically.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project engineering, quality assurance, or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a high‑stakes environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
