QA/QC Manager – SWRO Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Manager will support the Owner’s Engineer team on the Fujairah IWP project, ensuring that all quality assurance and control activities meet contract requirements, standards, and HSE expectations. The role focuses on quality documentation throughout construction, testing, commissioning and project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Review and monitor the EPC Contractor’s quality management arrangements for design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Assess project quality plans, inspection and test plans, method statements, procedures and material submittals.
• Coordinate site inspections, material receiving checks, testing activities and punch‑list closure.
• Identify non‑conformities, track corrective actions and support their resolution.
• Maintain QA/QC registers, records and reporting inputs for monthly project reports.
• Collaborate with discipline engineers, HSE personnel, document control and the EPC Contractor to enforce quality requirements.
• Support readiness reviews for pre‑commissioning, commissioning, performance and reliability testing.
• Contribute to lessons‑learned and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 15–20 years of experience on large industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a QA/QC Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience with SWRO desalination or large‑scale water‑treatment projects.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, statutory requirements and project quality procedures.
