Quality Assurance Director – Legal & Compliance

About the role

Bybit, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a senior Quality Assurance Director to lead compliance quality assurance across its Legal & Compliance function. The role will shape QA standards, drive continuous improvement, and ensure robust governance of compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the compliance QA function and act as the central accountability point for standards, methodologies and governance.
• Conduct hands‑on quality reviews of case work, decision assessments and process checks.
• Provide oversight, direction and calibration to QA resources to maintain consistent review standards.
• Design and implement QA frameworks, scoring models, escalation procedures and reporting mechanisms.
• Identify recurring quality gaps, control weaknesses and process failures through thematic reviews.
• Partner with Compliance, AML, KYC/KYB, Operations and control teams to raise execution standards.
• Produce management reports on findings, trends and assurance outcomes.
• Recommend process, control and training improvements based on insights.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in compliance, QA, audit, AML controls or operational risk within financial services, fintech, payments or crypto.
• Proven hands‑on experience conducting QA reviews and managing assurance programs.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
