Quality Engineer – Emirati Talent

About the role

The Quality Engineer will ensure that EDGE Group’s products meet the highest quality standards and help foster a strong quality culture across the organisation. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role focuses on designing inspection activities, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced defence and advanced‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement quality standards, control systems, testing procedures and inspection methods in line with industry standards (FAI).
• Lead Material Review Board (MRB) meetings, identify root causes, develop corrective actions and track implementation in the ERP system.
• Monitor and improve First Pass Yield (FPY) by reducing defects, scrap and rework through 8D problem‑solving.
• Conduct functional tests on finished products to verify performance, safety and compliance before delivery.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Review and update 2D drawings to create accurate inspection plans.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emirati) with at least 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Familiarity with aerospace or defence manufacturing environments is a plus.
