Quantity Surveyor – Construction & Interior Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will support the Chief QS in managing cost control, variations, and valuations for interior fit‑out projects. You will work closely with project teams and subcontractors to ensure profitability and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bills of quantities, variations, and monthly valuations for assigned projects.
• Detect contract changes, negotiate variations and claims with the project team.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor quotations, prepare comparison reports, and finalize subcontractor selection.
• Produce monthly valuation reports to track progress against schedule and take corrective actions.
• Secure necessary bonds, warranties, insurances, and other guarantees for projects.
• Verify subcontractor quantities, re‑measure work, and support final account preparation.
• Issue subcontractor payment certificates and manage interim/final accounts.
• Obtain client payment certificates to ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.

Required profile

• Technical qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in post‑contract Quantity Surveying, preferably in joinery/interior fit‑out.
• Knowledge of the local UAE market is an advantage.
