Quantity Surveyor – Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

ME FITOUT is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead cost control and estimation for fit‑out and interior construction projects in Dubai. The role involves preparing detailed Bill of Quantities, managing subcontractor contracts and ensuring accurate cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Measure quantities, perform detailed take‑offs and compile Bill of Quantities for fit‑out tenders.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses and conduct cost‑to‑complete variance analysis.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate terms and review monthly payment applications.
• Prepare and assess variation claims, manage contract amendments and negotiate final account settlements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, procurement specialists and project managers to resolve cost‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in interior fit‑out or commercial construction, preferably in the UAE market.
• Strong knowledge of quantity measurement standards and FIDIC contract administration.
• Proficiency with cost estimation software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
