Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) at Land Sterling is responsible for managing the cost, contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects across the United Arab Emirates. The role ensures projects are delivered within budget, on schedule and in compliance with quality standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) using POMI and NRM measurement methods.
• Develop cost estimates and cost plans at concept, schematic and detailed design stages.
• Support tendering and procurement by preparing tender documents, handling queries and evaluating submissions.
• Review contractor payment applications, assess variations and monitor cost performance against the approved budget.
• Assist in contract administration under FIDIC or equivalent contracts, maintaining correspondence and supporting claim assessments.
• Contribute to final account preparation and project close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
• Ability to perform both senior and junior QS tasks as required.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
