Quantity Surveyor (QS) Coordinator

About the role

JAM Event Services is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) Coordinator to support the QS Manager on a large‑scale event project in Liwa, Abu Dhabi. The role involves on‑site measurement, quantity verification and documentation of event‑related works delivered by suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret approved BOQs, drawings and technical specifications.
• Perform on‑site measurements and record quantities of fabricated, branded, flooring, fencing, temporary structures, rentals and installations.
• Conduct inspections during build‑up, live event operations and dismantling phases.
• Prepare measurement sheets, quantity records and verification reports for review.
• Compare delivered quantities against BOQs, flag discrepancies and raise reports.
• Support inspection of workmanship, finishes and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain organized documentation, photographic records and site logs.
• Assist in resolving quantity and quality issues with suppliers.
• Support supplier reconciliations, invoice checks and payment validation.
• Provide reporting assistance to the Procurement team throughout the project.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in site measurement, quantity take‑off and BOQ verification, preferably in events, exhibitions, fit‑out or temporary structures.
• Proven ability to read and interpret BOQs, drawings and specifications.

What we offer

• Contract position from September 2026 to January 2027.
• Salary of AED 8,000 per month.
• On‑site accommodation during the Liwa deployment.
