Rail Systems Integration Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Rail Systems Integration Manager to lead integration activities on a major rail infrastructure programme in the UAE. This senior leadership position requires overseeing the coordination of all railway systems, subsystems, interfaces and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Systems Integration Strategy aligned with engineering, construction, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance.
• Define integration objectives, governance processes, KPIs and monitor system performance.
• Lead management of system interfaces across multiple technical disciplines and stakeholders.
• Identify, manage and mitigate integration risks, addressing technical, contractual and operational challenges.
• Coordinate integration testing, verification and validation (V&V) to ensure operational readiness.
• Oversee interface management documentation, compliance records and deliverables.
• Support design reviews, audits, safety assessments and system assurance activities.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, operators, authorities and project teams to resolve integration issues.
• Facilitate handover from project delivery to operational service with proper documentation and readiness activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of systems integration management experience in the rail sector.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, multidisciplinary rail projects (metro, mainline or high‑speed).
