Recreation Experience Expert – Pool Attendant

About the role

The Recreation Experience Expert – Pool Attendant is the primary point of contact for guests using the hotel’s recreation facilities, including pools, beach, fitness centre and entertainment zones. The role ensures a safe, enjoyable environment while delivering high‑level service and supporting private events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information, register, and schedule guests for pool, beach, fitness and other recreation activities.
• Promote safety by enforcing facility rules, monitoring activities and responding to emergencies according to procedures.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments for equipment rentals, activity fees and retail sales.
• Assist with private functions, setting up group activities and ensuring smooth operation.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of recreation areas, equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions, and provide first‑aid assistance until emergency services arrive.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certifications; any additional certifications required by local authorities.
• No prior recreation or supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
• Basic computer literacy for entering and retrieving information.
