Recreation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Recreation Manager to oversee the pool and beach areas at our Autograph Collection property in Dubai. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, managing cabana operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervises and manages recreation staff, stepping in to perform duties when needed.
• Monitors daily quality and standards to meet customer expectations.
• Schedules events, programs, activities and coordinates staff work.
• Provides personal assistance, medical attention or emotional support to guests and coworkers.
• Develops goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work.
• Manages outside vendors for water sports and scuba activities.
• Coordinates group activities such as sand painting, bonfires and team‑building events.
• Orders and manages supplies, equipment, tools and uniforms for the team.
• Oversees the children’s program, including activity coordination and equipment procurement.
• Maintains pool and beach areas, ensuring overall upkeep, cleanliness and cabana operation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of recreation/health‑club operations experience, OR
• 2‑year degree in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field (no experience required).
