Recreation Supervisor – Children’s Club

About the role

The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Recreation Supervisor to lead its Children’s Club. You will create a safe, engaging environment where families can enjoy high‑quality recreational, educational and equestrian activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Children’s Club and related recreation areas.
• Plan, schedule and deliver age‑appropriate activities, including creative, sporting and equestrian programmes.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of all children, verifying authorised pick‑up arrangements and following safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, registrations, parental consent, incidents and special requirements.
• Lead and support recreation attendants, activity leaders and the childcare team.
• Conduct regular safety checks of play areas, equipment and facilities, reporting any hazards or maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with guest relations, membership, events, equestrian and operations teams to support parties, family events and school‑holiday programmes.
• Manage inventory of activity equipment, supplies, games and crafts.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising children’s recreational programmes, preferably in a hospitality or club setting.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and execute daily schedules and seasonal initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with parents, guardians and internal teams.
• Ability to enforce safety standards and child‑safeguarding policies.
• Leadership qualities to motivate and manage a team of attendants and activity leaders.

Required skills

• Basic record‑keeping and reporting abilities.
