About the role
The Recreation Supervisor creates and manages activity programs for hotel guests, ensuring a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. The role involves planning schedules, promoting facilities, and responding to guest needs and emergencies.
Key responsibilities
- Develop recreational activity agendas and advertise them using publishing software.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, reporting low stock to management.
- Recruit, register, and schedule guests for activities, providing information on facilities.
- Enforce safety rules, monitor activities, and respond to emergencies, including providing first‑aid assistance.
- Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
- Assist in training, motivating, and coaching staff, serving as a role model.
- Handle guest inquiries, process payments, and operate point‑of‑sale systems.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related recreation experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Any additional certifications required by local authorities.
