Refrigeration Technician

About the role

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join its Engineering team. You will ensure the optimal performance of all refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment across the luxury hotel, supporting guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all types of refrigeration equipment, including walk‑in cold rooms, freezers and commercial/industrial units.
• Carry out preventive and routine maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and fix electrical control system faults.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and ensure uniform is in good condition.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of hands‑on experience with refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Ability to work under the direction of the Refrigeration Engineer.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
