Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Health Insurance

About the role

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will ensure that GIG Gulf’s health insurance products and processes comply with all relevant health and federal regulations. You will act as the primary point of contact for regulatory queries, escalations, and audits, supporting the company’s commitment to regulatory excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze new and existing health regulations and assess impact on the company’s products and operations.
• Maintain ongoing compliance with applicable health and federal regulations.
• Coordinate and respond to regulatory queries and escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage regulatory complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required by authorities.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audit readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance or related fields.
• Strong understanding of health insurance regulations and federal compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with regulators and internal teams.
