Relationship Manager – Large Merchant Accounts

About the role

Drive growth in the merchant acquiring business by expanding and providing merchants with acquiring channels and capabilities. Manage key merchant sectors and acquire large to very large merchants while maintaining strong, long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain long‑term relationships with large merchants through regular communication and personalized support.
• Manage the large merchant onboarding process and ensure a smooth transition to products and services.
• Identify opportunities to expand and enhance the merchant base and generate new sales.
• Cross‑sell value‑added services such as DCC, MPOS, and loyalty programs.
• Address client issues promptly by coordinating with internal teams and monitor client satisfaction.
• Stay aware of competition, market trends and develop appropriate strategies.
• Achieve sales targets through merchant retention and explore expansion into new geographies and channels.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the Payment Card Industry, specifically in acquiring.
• Strong customer focus, drive for excellence, integrity, ownership and strategic ability.
• Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations and associated risks.
