Repair Capability Development Officer

About the role

The Officer – Repair Capability Development provides technical and administrative support to the Manager and the wider team within Sanad’s MRO operations. Working under close supervision, the role assists in documenting, coordinating and executing activities related to planning, qualification and integration of new or enhanced repair capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and format technical work instructions, routing sheets and capability request forms.
• Collect and maintain technical justifications and data for repair qualification submissions.
• Track progress of repair capability projects, update trackers and dashboards.
• Schedule meetings, prepare minutes and coordinate follow‑up actions for development reviews.
• Support tooling, materials and logistics preparation for repair trials or validations.
• Organise compliance documents in line with GCAA, EASA and FAA standards and assist in audit preparation.
• Collect performance data from trials, prepare basic reports and presentations for management.
• Contribute ideas for workflow and data‑management improvements.

Required profile

• Vocational or technical diploma in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing or related engineering field (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (advantage).
• 2–3 years of experience in a technical or engineering support role, preferably in an MRO, aerospace or manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to documentation, engineering coordination or project tracking is a plus.
