Repair & Maintenance Mechanical Tech III

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a skilled Repair & Maintenance Mechanical Tech III to join its down‑hole tool service team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining critical equipment used in global energy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnoses, repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections on down‑hole tools and related equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and calibration activities for both down‑hole and surface equipment.
• Promote service excellence and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to less‑experienced technicians, including Train‑the‑Trainer duties.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Assist in evaluating equipment performance and recommending improvements based on maintenance history.

Required profile

• Technical school certificate or equivalent; minimum three years of relevant mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and computer‑based documentation.
• Proficiency in assembling and disassembling down‑hole equipment.
