Reservation Agent

About the role

We are looking for a Reservation Agent to join our hotel team in Fujairah. The role involves handling all reservation inquiries, changes and cancellations, ensuring a smooth booking experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications and cancellations received via phone, fax or email.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types and verify availability.
• Explain guarantee, special rates and cancellation policies to callers.
• Document special requests and answer questions about hotel facilities and services.
• Use the reservation system to input rates, codes and special room types such as complimentary rooms or travel‑agent rates.
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and adhere to escalation procedures for guest concerns.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and uphold company policies.
• Provide courteous telephone etiquette and assist guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple requests.
• Physical ability to lift or move items up to 10 lb.
