About the role
The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations for guests at The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, ensuring a smooth and professional booking experience.
Key responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
- Identify guest needs, verify room availability and rates, and explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies.
- Document special requests and input accurate codes and rates for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, and wholesale reservations.
- Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and adhere to escalation procedures for guest concerns.
- Answer guest inquiries about property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
