Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling all guest reservation enquiries for a leading hotel brand in Dubai. You will ensure accurate booking, changes and cancellations while delivering a professional and welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications and cancellations received via phone, fax or email.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies to callers.
• Enter and manage reservation data in the hotel’s reservation system, including special rates such as complimentary rooms or travel‑agent rates.
• Document special requests and ensure they are communicated to relevant departments.
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and adhere to escalation procedures for guest concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to handle guest inquiries, resolve issues and work collaboratively with team members.
• Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull or place objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a reservation management system.
• Basic computer literacy.
