Reservations Agent

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Reservations Agent to join our team at Rose Rayhaan by Rotana in Dubai. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for guests making room reservations, ensuring a smooth and memorable booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process and confirm guest room reservations received via phone, letter, or fax.
• Enter all reservation details into the system, capturing pertinent information.
• Handle inquiries, complaints, and special requests related to reservations.
• Stay updated on hotel promotions and apply appropriate rates and policies.
• Maintain accurate room status and ensure all incoming calls and emails are answered according to Rotana standards.
• Organize visa requests for hotel guests in line with hotel policy and identify up‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain filing systems, prepare reports for the Reservations Manager, and promote positive public relations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field.
• Previous experience in hotel reservations.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Customer‑focused, proactive, courteous, and able to work independently within a structured environment.
• Strong teamwork, responsibility, adaptability, and ability to recognize differences.
