Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent will join the Revenue Department of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, handling guest bookings and ensuring the highest level of service for a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily reservation accuracy and rate compliance across all segments and sources.
• Perform system close‑out and manage rate availability as needed.
• Ensure guest satisfaction while adhering to Emirates Palace service standards.
• Follow internal credit policy and manage credit approvals.
• Follow up on lost business and report insights to department supervisors.
• Spot‑check reservations from the previous day, including VIP arrivals.
• Conduct test calls to achieve LQA/IFH scores above 85%.
• Participate in the internal up‑sell program for the Reservations department.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel.
• Guest‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Team player who delivers high performance under pressure.
• Trustworthy, responsible and composed in demanding situations.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
