About the role
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Resident Engineer (Landscape) to lead field engineering activities in Dubai. You will plan, schedule, supervise, and manage all landscape engineering work, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organize, staff, and monitor all field engineering activities and related support operations.
- Provide guidance on scope, schedules, procedures, and construction challenges.
- Develop budget estimates and staffing plans for defined scopes.
- Establish and maintain construction engineering quality control on site.
- Collaborate with construction management to mitigate environmental, safety, and health hazards.
- Maintain close relationships with design engineers, client representatives, and contractors.
- Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and back‑charge records.
- Monitor contractor performance against schedule and specifications.
- Conduct performance evaluations and make decisions on planning, budgeting, and work priorities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Agricultural, or Irrigation Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in landscape or irrigation engineering.
- Proven ability to lead large‑scale field engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and quality control processes.
