About the role

The Restaurant General Manager will lead all aspects of a luxury Italian restaurant in Dubai, ensuring an authentic, high‑end dining experience. You will be responsible for guest satisfaction, staff performance, financial results, and brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, maintaining top‑tier quality in food, service, and ambiance.
• Deliver personalized, memorable guest experiences and monitor satisfaction through quality assurance tools.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sommelier on menu design and product sourcing.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff, conducting yearly performance reviews.
• Develop and implement revenue‑maximising strategies, control food, beverage, and labour costs.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, manage the restaurant budget.
• Source premium vendors to ensure authentic Italian offerings and continuous product improvement.
• Design and execute marketing and promotional campaigns, leveraging social media and digital platforms.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and luxury dining regulations and produce operational reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum three years in a Food & Beverage management role, preferably within a 5‑star hotel or successful stand‑alone operation.
• Fluent in Italian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, thrive under pressure, and provide proactive solutions.
• Strong organisational, time‑management, and relationship‑building capabilities.
