Restaurant Reservation Agent

About the role

The Restaurant Reservation Agent supports guest services at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Dubai, ensuring smooth reservation processes and high‑quality guest interactions. This full‑time position works closely with multiple departments to deliver an optimal hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist other departments as needed to maintain optimal guest service.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and handle physical tasks such as moving items up to 10 lb.
• Read and verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Enter and retrieve work‑related data using computers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Communicate with colleagues via pagers, two‑way radios, and email.
• Engage guests in conversation about their stay, property services, and local attractions.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any incidents promptly.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate their needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Answer telephone calls using professional etiquette.
• Support team goals and respond to employee concerns.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in hospitality or guest services.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer operation and data entry.
• Effective use of email for communication.
