Restaurant Reservation Agent

About the role

The Restaurant Reservation Agent supports guests throughout their stay by handling dining reservations and providing information about property services and local attractions. This position works closely with multiple hotel departments to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with restaurant reservations, answering questions about menus, availability, and special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and follow clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Use computer and point‑of‑sale systems to enter, locate, and manage reservation data.
• Communicate with team members via pagers, two‑way radios, and email to coordinate guest needs.
• Engage guests in conversation about their stay, property services, and local attractions.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any incidents promptly.
• Provide courteous telephone service and adhere to professional etiquette.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience in hospitality or guest services.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Effective use of electronic communication devices such as pagers, radios, and email.
