Retail Buyer – Cluster Procurement for FMCG Stores

About the role
The Retail Buyer will lead procurement and commercial performance across multiple stores and categories within Talal Group’s FMCG retail network. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels, pricing, and profitability while supporting promotional activities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage procurement and supplier relationships for a cluster of stores.
- Set pricing strategies and monitor gross profit margins.
- Track sales performance and implement improvement initiatives.
- Plan stock availability, replenishment, and inventory levels.
- Develop and execute promotional plans.
- Control ageing stock and minimise dead stock.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Store Buyer in FMCG retail.
- Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and merchandising.

- Microsoft Excel
