About the role
The Sales Assistant plays a pivotal role in delivering an engaging shopping experience at Toys "R" Us in Abu Dhabi Mall. You will combine front‑line customer interaction with operational duties to support store performance and brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a friendly, non‑businesslike welcome.
- Provide up‑to‑date product information and suggest gift cards.
- Capture customer details in the database for future sales opportunities.
- Maintain a sparkling, organized store environment, including fitting rooms and cash‑wrap areas.
- Assist customers promptly in fitting rooms and at the cash wrap, aiming to add‑on sales.
- Thank customers sincerely as they leave and invite them to return.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items and stand for at least eight hours.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CAD packages such as AutoCAD.
- Experience using Sketchup.
- Familiarity with Illustrator.
- Ability to work with Photoshop.
