Retail Sales Assistant – Galleria Mall

About the role

The Sales Assistant will deliver an outstanding customer experience in the Toys "R" Us store at Galleria Mall. You will engage shoppers, provide product information, and help drive sales while maintaining a clean and visually appealing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create a positive first impression by greeting customers with a smile and adhering to the dress code.
• Provide accurate product information, assist in fitting rooms, and suggest add‑on items to increase sales.
• Operate the cash wrap efficiently, process transactions, offer gift cards, and keep the area tidy.
• Maintain store standards, including visual merchandising, cleanliness of the sales floor and cash wrap, and overall organization.
• Capture customer data in the store database as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a high‑traffic environment.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and perform occasional heavy lifting.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with visual‑merchandising tools and CAD software.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator or Photoshop to create visual plans.
