Risk & Compliance Manager

About the role

The Risk & Compliance Manager will support the Vice President of Risk and Compliance in developing, implementing and monitoring policies across all MAF Retail countries. The role ensures that risk, compliance and safety standards are consistently applied to protect assets, merchandise and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Vice President in establishing and updating risk and compliance policies and procedures for all MAF Retail countries.
• Coordinate with country teams to ensure alignment with security policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement risk management initiatives and action plans.
• Contribute to disaster and crisis response recommendations.
• Analyse retail data and committee meeting information to prepare action plans.
• Participate in investigations of fraud, employee theft, ethics breaches, corruption and policy violations.
• Ensure investigations comply with applicable laws, company policy and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in risk, compliance or related functions, with at least 2 years in retail.
• Experience in AML, anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, regulatory compliance and governance.
• Strong understanding of conflict of interest assessment, fraud prevention, detection and investigation.
