Room Technician

About the role

The Room Technician ensures that guest rooms and related hotel facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance. Working on a full‑time basis, you will respond quickly to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and support the overall hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic systems.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs, as well as light‑bulb and A/C filter replacements.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Document daily activities, communicate shift handovers, and follow all safety and security policies.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry disciplines.
• Ability to acquire new technical knowledge and follow safety protocols.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and strong guest‑service orientation.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb.
