Sales and Application Engineer

About the role

Everllence is seeking a dynamic Sales and Application Engineer to support its propulsion, decarbonisation and efficiency solutions for the shipping and energy sectors. Based in Dubai, you will act as the technical bridge between customers, internal engineering teams and sub‑suppliers, driving sales opportunities from enquiry to project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project lists and sales activity reports, ensuring accurate follow‑up of new opportunities.
• Obtain, evaluate and compare bids from sub‑suppliers for auxiliaries and buy‑out components.
• Lead bid preparation, technical clarification and coordination with customers and suppliers.
• Select and develop compressor technical concepts and prepare technical proposals, cost estimates and budgets.
• Review customer inquiries, interpret specifications and generate technical quotations, drawings and schematics.
• Coordinate scope split between factory‑supplied and locally‑sourced components, issuing RFQs as needed.
• Participate in pre‑bid, bid review, technical clarification and kickoff meetings.
• Support regional sales managers with sales calls, bid meetings and on‑site customer presentations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales or application engineering within oil & gas, marine or related industrial sectors.
• Strong ability to manage complex bids and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills for evaluating specifications, cost structures and technical solutions.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of compressors and turbo‑machinery applications.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, cost estimates and budgets.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics and data sheets.
• Familiarity with bid management processes and supplier coordination.
