Sales Associate

About the role

The Sales Associate represents the brand in a retail environment, driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. This role supports visual merchandising, maintains store standards, and assists the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager with operational duties.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them to suitable products.
• Promote the loyalty program and convert window shoppers into buyers.
• Maintain a well‑groomed, professional appearance and stay flexible for peak periods.
• Ensure products are attractively displayed according to visual merchandising guidelines.
• Record and manage inventory for incoming and outgoing stock, especially clearance items.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, process payments, issue receipts, and balance the cash till.
• Adhere to loss‑prevention policies and store security procedures.
• Replenish and re‑merchandise stock on the sales floor to guarantee product availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous experience in a sales or customer‑service role is advantageous.
• Professional grooming and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during busy periods.
• Up‑to‑date product knowledge to provide accurate recommendations.
